Adoption Can't think of a character? Perhaps someone has placed one here for adoption. If you can pass their standards, you can have the character for use on Origins. However, if this is your first character on this board, one of the admins must accept the adoption. Anyone can post a character here, even ones they played here previously, but just can't take care of anymore.
Role-Play Help Are you new to role-playing, or just having some issues getting your literacy up to meet a site's standards? This is for anyone to use, guests and members alike. We have resources for you to use and members may be willing to help you out, too. Some of the help may be aimed more towards those who play here, but if you want help for another site, don't hesitate to ask.
Laws The rules that govern this site will be placed here. Sometimes, if something special occurs, like a temporary ban on something, etc., it will most likely be here for the time being. Make sure to read these carefully before thinking about joining. Yes, you can register before being accepted. That's what activity checks are for.
Creation Here is where you join a character on the board. Make sure you have read the rules first before doing anything here. Thank you.

Kyogou Village This is the largest part of the city. Here are where most of the lower class houses are. You may find some small, family-owned shops here, as well. It is a little rundown, but not too unpleasant to view.
The Port Here, along the endless sea against which the city of Kyogou rests, lies a port. There aren't any shipping routes as of yet, except maybe inland along some of the rivers to the shifters homes, but here are mainly houses of the middle class. Some small businesses can be found here as well.
Board Openings The home of a duke, shops
Outlying Acres On the far side of the city, opposite the port that is, lies the cities vineyards. There are a few houses here, but they are the owner's of the vineyards and their employees. A ducal family lives out here as well.
Board Openings Two competing vineyards, a ducal home
Old Business Sector This is just a small and compact area just outside of the village itself, on the other side of it from the City Center. Here, you can find the homes of the more old-fashioned doctors, the metal smiths and their forges, the low-class blood bars, and some ratty and sketchy shops.
Kotan Village This is where the common shifters of Kotan make their homes. Some choose to live in small huts, others in secure houses. What you live in is up to you. (PM an Admin to have your home created)
Brazen Forge This building is half open and half concealed. In the front, brick walls and a ceiling shelter a the shop where weapons are put on display and are sold. Out in back, there is no ceiling or walls, for this is where the weapons out front are made. There is even a paddock out in back to try out a new weapon.
Subboards Brazen Forge, Backstone Market, The Trading Post, Golden Root, The Duke's Home, Bella Leather Shopp.
Backstone Market This open square in the center of Kotan is the place to buy and sell numerous variations of produce and goods. Lean-tos line the streets, and within them are whatever produce the owner of the shack is currently selling. There is no pavement here so be careful not to dirty your new purchases in the dirt.
The Stricken Oak Meeting Circle Just outside the city, there stands a towering oak, ages old, that had been cloven into nearly two halves by lightening. It marks the place where the Kotan shifters gather for meetings and ceremonies.
The Trading Post This place is where travelers and Kotan shifters come to trade and barter with each other over various goods. The weapons forged in Kotan are particularly popular among traveling traders.
Whitline Fields Near by the village there lies a broad, fenced in field called Whitline Fields. This is where shifters grow produce for the town and for trade. There is even a sector where livestock is kept and raised.
Golden Root The Golden Root is a local tavern. It is two stories with the first floor holding the rowdy bar, dining room, and kitchen while the second story holds rooms for weary travelers who wish to spend the night.
Silver Face River The Silver Face River is a broad river just beyond Whitline fields. It is used for many things. It is a fairly popular play place for kids as well as a place to fish for dinner. It is named Silver Face because at times, when the light hits just right, some individuals claim to have seen pale faces shining silver beneath the water's surface.
The Duke's Home This three story home within the better part of the city is reserved for the noble family
Knothole Forest Although the name is different, this is actually the same forest that thrives upon Solta Ridge (There it is called Greatwood). It is large and deep with many different forms of tree and plant life. Village shifters find Knothole forest to be a good place to both hunt and romp in their animal shapes.
Beyond the Village This is the general wilderness beyond Kotan territory, which lies somewhere between the werewolves' Solta Ridge and the vampires' Kyogou city. While RPing in this forum, you can bring your character anywhere between Kotan, Kyogou, and Solta Ridge.
Bella Leather Shoppe Standing just shy of the cobbled roadway is a two story stone building, with shuttered windows on every level. Vines, green and vibrant, had begun to consume the lower left half of the shope. Its front, two grand doors, bare signs for leather work. Inside, at first, is a show-room. Eerything from royally crafted saddles, all of the finest leather, to simple boots and belts. In the back room is the workshop, but customers aren't allowed there. Behind the shoppe a patron may park their horse in one of the stalls, that is, if they came on one. They say the owner, Isabella, does more than just craft fine leather. If you ask the right questions, she might have other goods in store for you. The upstairs in barred off, but occasionally, sounds of sobs or yelps linger down through the silence of the store.

Maiden's Mist Glen This small, lush valley, offers the perfect place for lounging in peace. It has many things to explore for pups, and its deep grass and openness to sun allows for a wonderful place for adults to bask. Trees, shrubs, and rocks freckle the landscape and all sorts of game from rabbits to deer are pleantiful. The name comes from the glowing, silver mist that settles upon the glen in the early light of morning. It is so light and pure many claim the mist to be from a goddess's breath.
Swelter Hill Lake On the edge of Maiden's Mist Glen, a large, lopsided lake is settled beneath a sloping hill. When it rains, the lake becomes swelled and greatly over flows, as the rain water runs down the hill and straight into the lake. A variety of fish and aquatic life lives within, and due to the surrounding forest many woodland creatures come here to drink.
Solta Ridge The Solta Ridge is a mountainous area, though only two mountains exist within it. The first is smaller in size and lies further down the Solta Pack's territory. That is where trading is done with outsiders and travelers. The second mountain is Solta Ridge, and it is here (On this wooded mountain) that the werewolves make their dens and homes.

Gray Raven’s Vigil Legends say the founders of the Solta Pack found their way to Solta Ridge by following a gray raven. It is told that even after the pack's great ancestors settled in and made their home here the bird still remained. Its home was a sycamore that grew beside a great boulder and it was there that it lived until it died. Despite whether this tale is true or not, the place where the sycamore grows next to the boulder has become a sort of sacred place. It is the place for all pack gatherings and meetings when they are needed.
Greatwood Upon Solta Ridge and around it, there grows a great forest. It is vast and covers much of the Solta Pack's territory, and it even continues on past their territory down into the Others' (The shifters and vampires) regions. Most hunting takes place within Greatwood.
Trading Mountain Just before the Forsaken Path (Which leads down to the shifter and vampire towns below Solta Ridge) there is the smaller of the two mountains within Solta Ridge. This is the place where Trading Posts are set up by the Solta Pack. Here is where travelers and Pack members alike can trade and barter goods.
The Forsaken Path This is the path either up or down the mountain depending on which way you're traveling. It is the only man-made path upon Solta Ridge. A crude walkway had been cleared to make this path from the mountains down to the towns and valleys below, though really only traders use the path any more. Werewolves have no use for it and no one from the villages really comes up this way if they do at all.
The Alpha's Den The Alpha male Cinnire of the Solta Pack has made his den here. It is neither the highest nor the lowest one upon the mountain, though there is no mistaking that it belongs to the Alpha himself.
